The modalities for admission

Step 1 :

All applications are done on line but application forms can be obtained simply by asking Admissions on +33 1 44 08 00 66.

Complete your application form and send us the additional documents required by email to or by post to the following address 66, rue Guy Môquet, 94800 Villejuif.

Step 2 :

Your application will be processed by the admissions department and will inform you of their decision within five days of receipt of your application and supplementary documents. We will inform you of our decision by email and successful applicants will be re-contacted to make an appointment for interview.

Step 3 :

A convocation to the selection process which consists of an Interview to show your motivation and an MCQ style test in Biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and English.

Step 4 :

A response within two weeks maximum will be sent by email and by post.

The modalities for admission

if you are:

  • From high school section S and STL biology option, STSS STAE
  • Holder of a high school diploma in science
  • PAES not passed
  • Holder of a certificate of proficiency in science
  • From first year of an Engineering school

    • You enter into first year.

    if you are:

    • In prep school BCPST / Agro / Veto /ATS Bio
    • On a BTS Biotechnologies, ANABIOTECH, Biochimie
    • On a bachelor’s degree in Life sciences
    • On a DUT program in « génie biologique »
    • In An engineering school axed life sciences
    • PAES passed

    You enter as a transfer student into 2nd or 3rd year depending on the profil.

    When to apply to Sup’Biotech ?

    Sup’Biotech belongs to the groups of schools with a selection process: it is therefore necessary to present your application early in the academic year, the levels of our academic tests are adapted to where you are in you school programme. Once the numerus clausus reached, the following applicants will be put on the waiting list for a place.

    • Start of applications: 15th October 2011
    • Start of Interviews: beginning November 2011
    • Number in first year: 130
    • Number of places for transfer students: 30 in 2nd Year and 30 in 3rd Year
