Supbiotech has signed a number of different partnership agreements with Universities around the world. You can find below some examples of schools we have agreements with.
Founded in 1943, the Tecnológico de Monterrey, also called ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) is one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America. It brings together more than 91000 students and 33 university campus. Initially, intended to respond to qualified engineer demand, today, it excels in all fields. The Tecnológico de Monterrey benefits the best international recognitions like SACS, EQUIS and ABET. Establish to the international is one first objectives of the university, with more than 300 partners among the best universities in the world (Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Yale, Berkeley, MIT, École Polytechnique, HEC…). The American campuses are really nice and green. They have informatics rooms, cafeterias, sports facilities, work or rest spaces as inside and outside.
Mayaguez University in Puerto Rico; with its 13000 students including 5000 in Engineering and 1500 in Agronomy, shows a clear desire to develop its Biotechnology field by establishing new partnerships. The biotechnology program brings together each year more and more students. Today, the University counts 400 students in engineering registered in this program. Thanks to this partnership, Sup’Biotech allows to its students to follow one or two semesters in Mayaguez. The courses are taught either in English or in Spanish, a particularity that permits students to improve their knowledge simultaneously in both languages.

The Federal University of Mato Grosso is interested in the development of biodiversity of Brazil through lessons and research work from the institute of biosciences.
The university is facing a total mutation with the aim to develop internationally. The partnership signed with Sup’Biotech will allow R&D students of the expertise cycle who wish to improve their second Latin language, to follow scientific courses and manage research projects at Mato Grosso. That will be possible during one semester while UFMT students could come to Sup’Biotech and follow courses taught in English.

The UCSD is considered to be one of the best universities in the world and has been classed 13th in 2006 in the world by the Jiao Tong University of Shanghai. In 2007, it was classed 14th just after UCLA and before the Pennsylvania University. It is also the 2nd biggest American academic centre in the Biology and Biotechnology fields. The University welcomes around 26 000 students on campus. The agreement signed offers the possibility of setting up student exchanges, collaborating in the fields of Research and Engineering and participating in certain academics and scientific events.

The California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) groups 37 000 students divided up in 24 Bachelors and 67 Master’s, 4 000 employees and teachers, and international students in more than 100 countries. With its area of 1,3km2, Long Beach promotes sports facilities: athletic fields, swimming pools, even the Walter pyramid, a blue construction dominating the surrounding area that offers a basketball field! Having the biggest informatics room among the other public universities in California, Long Beach is ranked by the Princeton Review as one of the best public Universities in the country, only 30km from Los Angeles.
Created in 1878, the Montreal University includes today several departments and faculties and two affiliated schools: the Ecole Polytechnique and HEC Montreal. It represents the first academic campus of Quebec and the second in Canada. Currently, more than 55 000 students follow a program at the Montreal University. Sup’ Biotech has created links with the Biology Science department in order to facilitate and intensify their scientific and teaching exchanges. The exchange program is open to students who wish to do a semester of study or research in one of the two partner institutions.

The University of Sussex is known to be one of the most attractive British Universities! It possesses one of the most beautiful campuses in England, 6km from Brighton. Founded in 1961, it has quickly understood how to be one step ahead on the international level thanks to its innovative research and teaching technics. It has more than 10 000 students and offers a choice of program among the most important in England. In the ranking of the best world universities established by the « Times Higher Education » review, it ranks 8th in the United-Kingdom and 16th in Europe alongside the most prestigious institutions in the world.
Founded in 1965, the University of Essex is now part of the most eminent institution for research and teaching in United-Kingdom. It is regularly ranked among the twelve best universities in the country. The University possesses 2 laboratories: two of which are open 24hrs a day and 7days a week. Around 40% of its students come from abroad. Essex is a region situated in the East of England, one hour away from the North-East of London. The landscapes are very diversified. From small towns to animated cities, long beaches of white sand and city centres more industrialised!
With more than 23 000 students from all over the world, the University of East London (UEL) is a very popular destination! The UEL is in the heart of London, the cosmopolitan capital of England. Its campuses are in the East part of the city where the summer Olympic Games will take place in 2012. In addition to offering an affordable cost of living, it offers rapid access to the city centre: the West End is only 25 minutes away. The UEL is composed by two campuses: Docklands Campus opened in 2000, with a modern style and Stratford which is a combination of historical renovated buildings, laboratories and modern informatics equipment.
Keele University is an intensive research university whose campuses are in Staffordshire in England. It is one hour from Birmingham and Manchester and 2 hours from London by train. 7000 students animate the university with among them 200 foreign people. About 80 nationalities are represented in the University.
Aberdeen is the third oldest University in Scotland and the fifth in United-Kingdom. Internationally known, it has been constructed in one of the most dynamic regions in Europe. Welcoming more than 13 000 students, it is in the forefront of tuition and research in Medicine, Sciences and Human Sciences.
This agreement is particularly interesting for both organisations. The university of Aberdeen and Sup’Biotech have close academic objectives: offer Anglo-Saxon companies in Biotechnology, double culture in sciences and in business, with an engineering profile which is becoming more in demand. Among the different department of the University of Aberdeen, there is the school of medical science with which Sup’ Biotech has signed a partnership agreement on an exchange program for courses and internships. In the context of their cursus in Aberdeen the students have to validate a research project in laboratory. This project can be done in a partner laboratory of Sup’Biotech. Aberdeen students can attend to courses taught in English in the expertise cycle of Sup’Biotech.

Since 1892, the Meurice Institute of the HELDB is interested in traditional Biotechnology in agro-food and more specifically fermentation in the brewing industry. Having a pilot unit of brewing and several laboratories in Research and Services, the Meurice Institute offers a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a biochemistry major and 3 options: food industries, biochemical and brewing industries and pharmaceutical biotechnology. These programs are available for the expertise cycle students in the major Production&Process.

The agreement signed between Sup’Biotech and the Radboud University of Nijmegen allows an exchange of 4th year students within the Master’s in Biology in English. The Master’s in Biology offered by the faculty of Science of the Radboud University allows a two year of Master’s program to be followed, associating courses, pratical work and two internships in research. This program aims at becoming rapidly professional and access to jobs in research or management in big international companies or in big research institutions. The courses are taught entirely in English as is the case in the expertise cycle at Sup’Biotech.

Founded in 1971, the Griffith University welcomes 32000 students including 7000 foreign students. It is a modern and innovative university composed of 5 campuses. Griffith is the first University that has established an environmental Science faculty in Australia. It is a well-known institution in the Informatics, Business, Biology, Environmental and Life sciences and Management fields. Griffith is the world leader in Stem Cell Research with its new research centre the « National Adult Stem Cell Research Centre » and its institute for “Cell and Molecular Therapies”.
The University of Queensland was founded in 1911; this makes it the oldest University in the State of Queensland. Today, it welcomes 37 000 students of which are 7 000 international. The University has an international reputation in teaching and research. Indeed, UQ is a founding member of the national Group of Eight (Go8) ¬ a coalition of leading Australian universities, intensive in research and comprehensive in general and professional education. Collectively, Go8 members account for 70% of all research income in Australia's university system and enrol more than half of students that have the higher degrees in Research. The partnership signed will permit to Sup’Biotech Students to follow 4 courses chosen (For example: Regulatory issues in Biotechnology / Emerging Biotechnologies / Drug discovery and Development …) during one semester and have the possibility of attaining a Graduate Certificate applied to Biotechnology.
Created in 1984 at Jaïpur in India, the Health Research and Management Institute wants to conciliate activities of research and training and so contribute to the development of Health services, on the national and international level. The IHMR offers courses taught in English covering several subjects such as the Economy of Heath, Clinical trials or Management in hospital environment. This partnership is open to cycle expertise students of Sup’Biotech majoring in Marketing.

VEL TECH group of educational institutions was established in 1990 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service, Dr.R.Rangarajan and Dr.R. Sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30 years of experience in developing industries and international trade. What took off as a modest school now stands as a monument of glory for “Chennai city”. Founded in 1954, the Keimyung Unniversity (KMU) has become one of the most prestigious private universities in Korea outside Seoul. It has close working relations with more than 226 universities and organisations in more than 46 countries around the world: it possesses the international exchange network the widest in Korea. 27000 students are welcomed on three campuses: Seongseo as the main campus, Daemyung and Dongsan. The library situated in Seongseo has many multimedia sophisticated equipment. This is the meeting point of all the students for their research works. The Private Polytechnic Institute IP2 of the Université libre de Tunis, brings together different disciplines of Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences and Genius.
