Rien, si ce n\u2019est que toutes ces entit\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9es ou modifi\u00e9es par des biotechnologies. Elles soul\u00e8vent des enjeux consid\u00e9rables sur les plans technique et scientifique, mais aussi \u00e9conomique, juridique, \u00e9thique, politique et sociaux, d\u00e8s lors qu&rsquo;elles font \u00e9voluer nos mani\u00e8res de vivre, par exemple avec le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une m\u00e9decine personnalis\u00e9e ou le d\u00e9ploiement de techniques de biocontr\u00f4le en agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les recherches men\u00e9es par les enseignant.es-chercheur.es du PBS questionnent l\u2019existence de ces entit\u00e9s en analysant non seulement leur circulation dans de multiples espaces (par exemple, des patients aux laboratoires de recherche, ou de plateformes technologiques aux entreprises) et \u00e0 diverses \u00e9chelles, mais aussi au regard de la multiplicit\u00e9 des usages auxquels ces entit\u00e9s donnent lieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces questions sont travaill\u00e9es lors d\u2019enqu\u00eates de terrain (Cf. encart n\u00b01) qui visent \u00e0 documenter les pratiques relatives \u00e0 la qualification de ces entit\u00e9s, au cadrage de leurs usages et \u00e0 la nature du collectif que nous composons avec elles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les recherches du PBS contribuent ainsi \u00e0 d\u00e9cliner les objectifs de formation d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur.es responsables de SupBiotech en \u00e9clairant les enjeux et pratiques li\u00e9s au d\u00e9ploiement des biotechnologies en soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et en partageant ces connaissances tout le long de la formation de nos futur.es ing\u00e9nieur.es, sensibilis\u00e9.es aux r\u00e9sonnances sociales, environnementales et \u00e9thiques, des innovations biotechnologiques.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-axes-de-recherche\"><strong>Axes de recherche<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Le d\u00e9veloppement des biotechnologies biom\u00e9dicales red\u00e9finit les pratiques de soin et de recherche : m\u00e9decine de pr\u00e9cision, m\u00e9decine r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice, th\u00e9rapie g\u00e9nique, en sont quelques exemples. Ces innovations soul\u00e8vent de nombreuses interrogations \u2014 sociales, \u00e9conomiques, politiques, \u00e9thiques, juridiques \u2014 li\u00e9es \u00e0 la mise en banque du vivant, \u00e0 ses transformations, \u00e0 la protection des donn\u00e9es de sant\u00e9 ou aux modifications du g\u00e9nome, par exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous analysons les processus de qualification, d\u2019appropriation et de r\u00e9gulation des entit\u00e9s issues de ces biotechnologies. Ces questionnements s\u2019incarnent dans les projets de recherche en cours au PBS, que ce soit au sujet d\u2019organo\u00efdes (Cf. encart N\u00b02), de gam\u00e9togen\u00e8se <em>in vitro<\/em>, ou des usages du lait maternel humain, men\u00e9s dans une perspective interdisciplinaire (sociologie, anthropologie, philosophie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-biotechnologies-dans-le-domaine-environnemental\">Les biotechnologies dans le domaine environnemental<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Les approches de biocontr\u00f4le, les nouvelles techniques d\u2019\u00e9dition des g\u00e9nomes (NBPT), et plus largement les innovations pour une agriculture durable sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 la prise en compte des enjeux \u00e9cologiques actuels. La place qu\u2019y occupent les biotechnologies dessine les contours de ce second axe de recherche.&nbsp; Il s\u2019agit ici de comprendre en quoi ces technologies red\u00e9finissent les relations entre humains et non-humains, les rapports \u00e0 l\u2019environnement, et d\u2019examiner les questions biopolitiques qui se forment autour des entit\u00e9s concern\u00e9es (agents de biocontr\u00f4le, fili\u00e8res \u00e9conomiques, collectifs \u00e9mergents, mod\u00e8les agricoles\u2026). Le PBS y contribue par des enqu\u00eates de terrain qui portent sur les processus d\u2019innovation dans le domaine agricole et environnemental, sur les \u00e9volutions des relations entre entit\u00e9s biologiques (plantes, virus, bact\u00e9ries\u2026) et humains (scientifiques, agriculteurs, consommateurs\u2026) et sur les nouvelles mani\u00e8res de vivre ensemble qui en r\u00e9sultent (Cf. encart N\u00b03).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-circulation-du-lait-humain-et-communautes-bio-sociales\"><strong>Circulation du lait humain et communaut\u00e9s bio-sociales<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Port\u00e9 par Dr C\u00e9cile Vermot, cet axe s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 la circulation du lait humain et \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les dispositifs socio-techniques contemporains \u2014 extraction, conservation, transformation (liquide, solide, poudre) et mise en relation via les r\u00e9seaux sociaux \u2014 red\u00e9finissent les pratiques et les valeurs associ\u00e9es au lait maternel.<br>Le projet analyse \u00e0 la fois les circulations non commerciales (groupes d\u2019\u00e9changes, communaut\u00e9s virtuelles, usages alternatifs du lait dans la cuisine, la cosm\u00e9tique ou l\u2019artisanat) et les circulations commerciales, incluant la vente entre particuliers ou par des entreprises de biotechnologie.<br>L\u2019\u00e9tude explore \u00e9galement la formation de \u00ab bio-communaut\u00e9s \u00bb num\u00e9riques, dans lesquelles les corps, les technologies et les \u00e9conomies se recomposent \u00e0 travers de nouveaux modes de partage du vivant.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p class=\"has-tertiary-color has-base-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-3c59729fb7537c902aa294a407d0f10a\"><strong>Qu&rsquo;est-ce qu&rsquo;une enqu\u00eate de terrain en sciences humaines et sociales ?<\/strong><br><br>Afin d\u2019explorer les pratiques qui s\u2019appuient sur des entit\u00e9s innovantes comme les structures de cellules souches ou les microorganismes utilis\u00e9s en agriculture et les enjeux qu\u2019elles soul\u00e8vent, pour appr\u00e9cier leurs \u00e9volutions, le PBS m\u00e8ne des enqu\u00eates de terrain. Ces enqu\u00eates s\u2019appuient sur des donn\u00e9es dites empiriques. C&rsquo;est \u00e0 dire qu&rsquo;elles sont recueillies&nbsp;en divers lieux (les terrains)&nbsp;\u00e0 l\u2019aide de plusieurs m\u00e9thodes&nbsp;: <em>des observations situ\u00e9es<\/em>&nbsp;dans des \u00e9quipes de recherches en biologie, dans des \u00e9quipes m\u00e9dicales, des champs cultiv\u00e9s, ou dans des plateformes technologiques, <em>des entretiens<\/em>&nbsp;men\u00e9s avec les personnes qui y sont investies (chercheur.es, ing\u00e9nieur.es, professionnel. Les de la sant\u00e9, agriculteurs et agricultrices,&nbsp;usagers et usag\u00e8res\u2026), compl\u00e9t\u00e9s par le <em>recueil de documents \u00e9crits<\/em>. Ils ont connu un d\u00e9veloppement spectaculaire ces dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, avec la mise au point de techniques facilitant leur fabrication \u00e0 partir de cellules souches humaines et animales. Le projet Organact est financ\u00e9 par l\u2019ANR et coordonn\u00e9 par F. Milanovic (pour en savoir plus&nbsp;: <a href=\"https:\/\/organact.fr\/\">https:\/\/organact.fr\/<\/a>). Ce projet s\u2019int\u00e9resse aux organo\u00efdes humains et aux enjeux qu\u2019ils soul\u00e8vent dans leurs utilisations, en mobilisant une approche interdisciplinaire qui combine sociologie, anthropologie, \u00e9thique et droit. Un premier objectif est d\u2019explorer les pratiques biom\u00e9dicales (soin et recherche) qui s\u2019appuient sur des organo\u00efdes. Il est financ\u00e9 par le minist\u00e8re de l\u2019agriculture (via FranceAgrimer et le CASDAR). Son objectif est double. Sur le plan biologique, il vise \u00e0 explorer la phagoth\u00e9rapie (utilisation de bact\u00e9riophages en lutte biologique) comme nouvelle strat\u00e9gie de lutte contre les bact\u00e9rioses v\u00e9g\u00e9tales dans l\u2019agriculture. Le second objectif, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle soci\u00e9tale, consiste \u00e0 documenter et comprendre l\u2019\u00e9mergence et le d\u00e9veloppement de la communaut\u00e9 d\u2019acteurs (agriculteurs, chercheurs-ing\u00e9nieurs, distributeurs, consommateurs, etc.) en phagoth\u00e9rapie au sein de laquelle se d\u00e9veloppe cette strat\u00e9gie de biocontr\u00f4le. L\u2019apport des sciences sociales \u00e0 ce projet consiste \u00e0 appr\u00e9hender comme un \u00ab processus d\u2019innovation \u00bb la mise au point d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie de lutte contre les bact\u00e9ries pathog\u00e8nes \u00e0 l\u2019aide de virus. L\u2019enqu\u00eate de terrain porte sur ce processus d\u2019innovation saisi conjointement avec la constitution de la communaut\u00e9 d\u2019acteurs qu\u2019il mobilise.
