Elle met \u00e0 disposition un <strong>serveur informatique de calcul<\/strong> permettant le stockage s\u00e9curis\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es, leur traitement bio-informatique et l\u2019ex\u00e9cution de pipelines d\u2019analyse adapt\u00e9s aux projets de recherche et de formation. Cette infrastructure soutient aussi bien les travaux des enseignants-chercheurs que les projets des \u00e9l\u00e8ves, en leur offrant un environnement technique coh\u00e9rent avec les standards actuels de la recherche en g\u00e9nomique. La plateforme int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement un <strong>s\u00e9quenceur Nanopore<\/strong>, une technologie de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de l\u2019ADN et de l\u2019ARN en temps r\u00e9el. Cette technologie est particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019analyse de g\u00e9nomes complexes, \u00e0 la d\u00e9tection de variants structuraux et aux approches rapides et flexibles de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age. L\u2019ensemble fait de SYNAPSE un <strong>outil structurant<\/strong> pour les projets acad\u00e9miques et les collaborations externes, \u00e0 l\u2019interface entre <strong>biologie<\/strong>, <strong>g\u00e9nomique<\/strong> et <strong>sciences des donn\u00e9es<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-ef06f3fc wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-plateforme-transversale-de-recherche\">Plateforme Transversale de Recherche<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La plateforme <strong>SYNAPSE<\/strong> est une infrastructure transversale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la g\u00e9nomique et \u00e0 la bioinformatique au sein de SupBiotech. Elle est ouverte \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9quipes de recherche de l\u2019\u00e9cole \u2014 <strong>LRPIA, CELLTECHS, PBS et BIRL<\/strong> \u2014 afin de les accompagner dans leurs projets n\u00e9cessitant des analyses bioinformatiques ou de conduire directement ces analyses lorsque cela est n\u00e9cessaire. La plateforme met \u00e0 disposition des capacit\u00e9s de calcul adapt\u00e9es au traitement des donn\u00e9es de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit (NGS), ainsi qu\u2019un s\u00e9quenceur <strong>Nanopore<\/strong>, permettant la production et l\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es g\u00e9nomiques. SYNAPSE soutient les projets de recherche, les activit\u00e9s p\u00e9dagogiques et les collaborations scientifiques, et est \u00e9galement ouverte \u00e0 des partenariats acad\u00e9miques et industriels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impacts :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Pour la recherche<\/strong> : acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une infrastructure de calcul et de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age g\u00e9nomique permettant d\u2019analyser des donn\u00e9es NGS et de soutenir les projets scientifiques des \u00e9quipes de SupBiotech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves<\/strong> : formation pratique aux technologies NGS, \u00e0 l\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es biologiques et au s\u00e9quen\u00e7age Nanopore, avec une immersion dans des projets proches des standards de la recherche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Pour SupBiotech et ses partenaires<\/strong> : renforcement de l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 et du positionnement de l\u2019\u00e9cole dans les domaines de la g\u00e9nomique, de la bioinformatique et des sciences des donn\u00e9es, ainsi que le d\u00e9veloppement de collaborations acad\u00e9miques et industrielles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-base-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:0;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p class=\"has-tertiary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-ea9b9371a0ad5312b6e213a64dce2933\"><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce que le NGS  ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-tertiary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d892f2806c8c74989f2b72ef31878b65\" style=\"border-style:none;border-width:0px\">Le <strong>NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing)<\/strong>, ou s\u00e9quen\u00e7age \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit, est une technologie qui permet de lire l\u2019ADN ou l\u2019ARN tr\u00e8s rapidement et en tr\u00e8s grande quantit\u00e9. Alors que les anciennes m\u00e9thodes analysaient une seule petite s\u00e9quence \u00e0 la fois, le NGS produit des millions, voire des milliards de fragments de s\u00e9quences en parall\u00e8le. Cette puissance exp\u00e9rimentale g\u00e9n\u00e8re cependant une <strong>quantit\u00e9 massive de donn\u00e9es<\/strong>. Chaque exp\u00e9rience peut produire plusieurs gigaoctets, voire des t\u00e9raoctets d\u2019informations g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques. Pour reconstruire les g\u00e9nomes, identifier les mutations ou comparer les s\u00e9quences, il est donc n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019utiliser des<strong> outils informatiques et des capacit\u00e9s de calcul importantes<\/strong>.
