Food Engineering Research

The Collaborative Food Engineering Research Laboratory (LRPIA) seeks to catalyze the rise of the circular economy by developing new biotechnological processes for transformation of plant by-products of industrial activities.
The LRPIA is currently working on fermentation technologies adapted to the wood industry.


Cellular Engineering Research

Stem cells offer the promise of revolutionary applications in the field of therapeutic research. In the CellTechs research laboratory, we are developing human “minibrains” that will help us better understand and treat neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.


Social Science Research

Biotechnologies contribute to the changes now under way in contemporary biomedicine, and they have major social and environmental repercussions in the present period of far-reaching transformations. The Biotechnology & Society Division (PBS) strives to describe these changes and define the role biotech plays in them.


Bioinformatics and Modeling Research

Bioinformatics is an essential instrument for the development of biotechnological innovations. Our laboratory develops molecular and metabolic modelingtools for research in the fields of health (e.g., oncology and infectious diseases) and the environment.


About Sup’Biotech

Sup’Biotech is a school specialized in Biotechnology located in the south of Paris, France. We provide an innovative course taught over five years after the high school diploma. The school is close to both the world of scientific research as well as the corporate world and has signed partnerships with universties globally. Graduates gain quick access to senior positions both in France and abroad in such fields as health and pharmaceuticals, food-processing innovation, cosmetics, bioinformatics, or the environment. The program is constructed around the model put in place by the international LMD reform: the Bachelor of Biotechnology cycle (3 years) and the Expertise cycle (2 years).
